Putney recently completed its 10 year accreditation process with NEASC, the New England Association of Schools and Colleges. This process includes an extensive self-study, responding to standards set by the association, and culminates in a three day visit by a visiting team of independent school educators. The Visiting Team writes a report in response to their visit and the self-study, detailing their findings in all areas of the school. While continued accreditation was unlikely to be an issue, we took the process seriously as a tool for self-examination and self-improvement. We were very pleased with the resulting report from the visiting committee. It may take a little while to load, as it is a lengthy document.
